Chickens and Breed description
We have a variety of different chickens for sale most of the time. You can mix and match your choice of birds to suit your particular taste.
If you are new to keeping chickens it is worth noting that what we keep are point of lay pullets ie birds just becoming adults ready to begin laying. They are not what are sometimes referred to as “young laying birds.” These are often much cheaper having already had their first and best season of laying.
All of our birds are fully vaccinated against the majority of potential poultry ailments.
Our chickens are all hybrid birds which means they are a mixture of two purebred birds. As a general rule hybrids tend to be more reliable egg layers and are less prone to disease.
At this time, we do not stock purebred birds, bantams or cockerels.
Unfortunately, we cannot reserve birds but will always do our best to provide you with what you would like.
